Born in Texas, Christopher has lived in over 50 places. At the age of 15, his mother shipped him to Pennsyltucky. He lived in the foothills of the PA and MD Appalachian mountains until he moved to WV. Then he loaded up the truck and moved to DC. He's had a stupid amount of jobs. That said, he was a UPS Driver for 12 years before he decided to part ways and attend University of Maryland at the age of 34. He currently works for the Petworth Library in Washington, DC where he runs four writers workshops, teaches computer literacy, genealogy, job-seeking, Baby Lap Time, and directs people to the restoom. He's also the Secretary-Treasurer for AFSCME Local 1808. He's part cowboy, part toddler, part old man, and according to his sister, "a complete dork." He's been an activist for 20 years and is affectionately known as "anarchy dad" to some of the Mid-Atlantic radical milieu. He's also known to be a part-time lyricist for the progressive rock band Aerchive. He was published a handful of times in the late 1990s. Short of giving permission for two poems to be included in surrealist anthologies, he didn't publish for another 20 years until in 2018 "How to Repair the Timing Belt on a 1984 Ford Bronco" was picked up instead of being rejected a bazillionth time. Early drafts of his work are available to writers and educators upon request.
